Routine work that keeps people busy on sites and in offices
A Czech construction company with site managers and concrete plants wants to free employees from routine administration and create “virtual assistants” for individual positions that take over repetitive work.
We agreed on a two-phase approach. First, prove on one concrete problem that automation works in the company and pays off. Only then map the whole company and plan what should come next.
Phase I: one script has to prove that automation pays off
Attendance exports from Stavario arrive as unformatted Excel sheets. Before payroll, someone had to round the times by hand.
We are automating this work as a proof of concept. We gathered requirements with the site managers and the payroll accountant, designed the technical solution (via API or export) and moved on to implementation. The payroll team receives a ready file prepared for processing.
Where a plain script is enough, we do not use an expensive AI model.
Phase II, what we are preparing: a map of how work really runs
The second phase is a map and a plan. We map the whole company through interviews with employees, to capture how processes really run rather than how they look on paper.
This includes integrating Helios (finance), RSV (production), Stavario and the concrete plants, and designing middleware for the RSV web migration.
For later phases we have identified more advanced use cases: checking bills of quantities (PDF/DWG) against invoicing and real material consumption, and optimizing the logistics of the concrete plants. This is a plan, not a delivered solution.
Where things stand and what comes next
Phase I is under way: the script for Stavario attendance exports for payroll is the proof of concept that shows how automation works at the company. Phase II, a process map across Helios, RSV and Stavario plus a plan for virtual assistants, is prepared as the next step. The advanced use cases remain identified for later implementation.
Technically, the work centers on Stavario and Helios, complemented by automation scripts and agents.
