Invest in Slovakia is the largest investment crowdfunding platform in Slovakia, specializing in real estate. Based in Poprad, this Slovak platform facilitates collective investing by connecting investors with developers of residential projects across Slovakia. Both individuals and legal entities can invest in selected projects starting from as little as 100 euros, with average returns up to 10% per annum, depending on the project. Since its inception in 2019, Invest in Slovakia has channeled over ten million euros through its platform, generating more than two million euros in returns for investors. This platform represents a significant opportunity for both novice and experienced investors to engage directly in the lucrative Slovak real estate market.
Invest in Slovakia faced significant hurdles due to its outdated technological framework and the limitations of having its development managed by a single developer. This setup was increasingly inadequate, hindering the platform's ability to scale and keep pace with the rapidly growing and demanding real estate investment market.
The platform's need for modernization was critical; it required not only the latest technologies but also a shift in development strategy to support faster and more sustainable growth. Additionally, there was an urgent need for a strong technical partner capable of overhauling the existing system. This partner would need to optimize the application, stabilize the infrastructure, and bring robust development expertise to revitalize and future-proof the platform. This transformation was essential for Invest in Slovakia to maintain its market leadership and meet the evolving needs of its investors and project developers.

Upon joining the project, our initial task was to conduct a comprehensive technical assessment of Invest in Slovakia’s existing platform. We quickly identified that the original architecture and chosen technologies were no longer sustainable for the platform’s needs. To address these issues, we crafted a detailed plan that focused on stabilizing the application, resolving security vulnerabilities, and laying out a strategy for necessary refactoring.
Recognizing the need for continuous innovation, our plan also included the integration of new functionalities to attract additional customers and facilitate the platform's expansion into international markets. Following the strategic outline, we assembled a robust development team, including three full-stack developers and a lead technical advisor, tasked with stabilizing and fully developing the application.
The team’s efforts have led to significant achievements: the application was brought to a stable state, underwent a partial redesign and refactoring, and is now poised for a complete rewrite based on our thorough analysis. Throughout our partnership, Invest in Slovakia has successfully attracted new investors and achieved sustained growth by leveraging the enhanced stability and new features of the revamped platform.
