IT was a black box to the rest of the company
24pay is a Slovak company providing payment solutions. Its technology is built mainly on Java.
For the other departments, IT was a black box. Nobody outside engineering could see how it worked, what was happening inside it or where it was heading. The engineering and product teams needed leadership that would change that.
We lead engineering and product at once

Techmates now leads all of 24pay’s IT: we set the budget and maintain plans that match the business goals. We show the other departments how IT works and set up the processes it runs by. That supports the company’s expansion into other countries.
The technology is built mainly on Java.
For a long time, IT was a black box to us. Techmates took over the leadership of both development and product, and after a two-month analysis we had a clear picture of the state of our IT for the first time. Today IT has a budget and a plan that match the company's goals, and the other departments can see into it too. That is essential for our expansion. We definitely recommend working with them.
